Activities

The Doctorate of Research (Ph.D) represents the third and highest level of university education.

The three-year training program aims to acquire the skills necessary to carry out highly qualified research at universities, public bodies, or private entities and to practice liberal professions, contributing to the creation of the European Higher Education Area and the European Research Area.

To be admitted to a PhD program, one must have a master's degree, a degree from the old system, or a qualification obtained abroad, recognized as suitable for admission purposes only.

The PhD program has a limited number of places and the selection is made through an open competitive exam.

The title of Doctor of Research (Ph.D) is obtained by passing a final exam consisting of the discussion of the Doctoral Thesis.
