Rossana Arcano, PhD candidate (40th cohort), supervised by Prof. Emanuele Millemaci, has been selected through a competitive call to spend a visiting period at the Seoul National University Asia Center (SNUAC), from March to August 2027, where she will be hosted by Prof. Kilkon Ko.
During this period, Rossana will further develop the Korea–Italy comparative component of her dissertation, focusing on the Korean KONEPS e-procurement system and the Italian ANAC/BDNCP public procurement ecosystem.
Her planned activities include:
- research based on institutional sources and available datasets;
- academic exchange with scholars at SNUAC and Seoul National University;
- where feasible, interviews and contacts with relevant institutions and professionals in public procurement, anti-corruption, digital governance and public administration.
